Crisis Line Volunteer

Become a Certified Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor on the Rape Crisis Center crisis line. If you’re looking for a chance to make a direct personal impact with sexual assault survivors, consider becoming a volunteer with Community Violence Solutions. Our 55-hour state approved course provides you with the skills to join the team on the Rape Crisis Center’s 24-hour crisis line as a volunteer sexual assault victim counselor. You’ll take weekly shifts at home and respond in person to assist child and adult victims of sexual violence.  For more information and dates of upcoming trainings contact cpeterson@cvsolutions.org or call 510-307-4121.
